"I want to thank you for training Circle K Ace of Hearts (Ace) - Paint and Mighty Etching (Cash) - Appaloosa. Cash went from a horse with no control and very reactionary to a horse with a lot of control and no reaction. Also he went from running away from me in the field when I had the halter to walking up to me now or even meeting me at the gate when he sees me coming with the halter. Ace went from being a very frustrated horse when being ridden to a nice smooth ride. He and I both enjoy riding together now. He just needed someone to teach him. He wants to do the right thing but he didn't always know how to get there. Thanks to you guys he does now. I truly enjoy and look forward to riding Ace and Cash for many years. Again, I thank you both very much from the bottom of my heart"

"Baker Performance Horses aka Mike and Shannon have had 6 horses of mine in training so far. I can’t put into words what they have done for my horses and myself. They are Patient, Kind, and their knowledge is unlimited. They are consistent, diligent and if something is not working they are creative enough to stop and try something else. I feel so blessed as to have found them, and my daughter just loves them. Me too!! I am so excited for my daughter and myself showing Appaloosas now, and we couldn’t have done it without them. They have been my big shoulder to lean on, and they are always positive. The only drawback I can come up with is that when you go to pick your horse up from "Baker Performance Horses" don’t be surprised if the horse acts like it wants to stay there. Don’t get your feelings hurt. They are always looking out for you and your horse."

"Charlie" (AQHA 2005 gelding) and I have been with Mike and Shannon for two show seasons and will be returning in 2011! We have done well under their training, achieving personal goals as well as accumulating points towards his Register of Merit which we are planning on finishing this year! Mike has a gift for being a talented horse trainer as well as a great instructor. He does an excellent job of training the horse as well as having the patience and communication skills to teach me how to get the most from my horse. Shannon’s show experience provides valuable insight from an exhibitor’s point of view and she does a great job of making a little stocky horse look like a real hunt seat horse! I always know that "Charlie" is in good hands when I leave him with Shannon and Mike. They are a well rounded team whose combined talents and abilities ensure I am prepared for the show ring."
